Explore unique stories of American life in a 1920s Kansas town with our special History Highlights Tour Series – and this month’s theme is THE ROARING 20S: LIFE IN SMALL TOWN AMERICA! 

Everybody’s seen the glamorous Hollywood version of the 1920s – flappers, champagne, fast cars and shorter skirts – but what was daily life REALLY like in America? Explore real life in a Kansas City streetcar town, from their jobs and families to their clothes and what they’d do for fun! Each tour includes special featured stories and a custom guided route led by our professional museum staff, who get to highlight their favorite facts and collections around our town and farm.

Tours are designed for adults and kids 5th grade and higher. Tour is included with General Admission. No RSVPs and space is first–come first–serve, so come early to claim your spot! **Friends of Shawnee Town Members are entitled to FREE general admission (based on their Membership Level).
