Dog Days of Summer

Every dog needs his day and yours is no exception! Bring your leashed pup to Shawnee Town on Saturday, August 16 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm for a fun adventure in the historic 1920s downtown. Enjoy dog–friendly vendors and community services, food trucks, splash pools, music, contests, and raffle prizes, PLUS you don’t miss the Kansas City Disc Dogs demonstration! Our Dog Contest categories include Best Dressed, Waggiest Tail, Sweetest Smile, Best Bad Hair Day, Biggest Bark, Most Talented Trickster, Smallest Dog, Largest Dog, Longest Tongue, and Twinning Couple.

All dogs must be kept on a leash during the event. Admission to the museum grounds is free 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Event is rain or shine.
